This existing home, set in a beautiful heritage area, was ready for some much-needed TLC and thoughtful additions to suit the growing needs of the family.

Starting at the street front, we’re adding a new double garage, along with a single garage that doubles as a storage and hobby space. The original entrance stoep will be enclosed to form part of the new main en-suite, complete with a cozy PJ lounge for relaxed family time.

​

Inside, the current lounge will be transformed into a third bedroom with its own pop-out en-suite. This change marks the beginning of a new wrap-around mono-pitch roof, which creates a sheltered private deck for the third bedroom, as well as a new entrance deck and foyer that opens seamlessly into the heart of the home.

 

The main living spaces have been completely reimagined: a spacious open-plan lounge, dining, and kitchen area wraps around the deck, encouraging indoor-outdoor living. The kitchen will also include a scullery pop-out, keeping the entertainment space clean, tidy, and effortlessly functional.

Outside, new landscaping will reshape the backyard into a true retreat. A pool and sun deck will anchor the space, while still leaving plenty of grassy lawn for sports, play, and laid-back afternoons.
