House Villiersdorp

Location: Villiersdorp
Program: Residential
Area: 380sqm

Progress: Completed

Most of the structural walls are still intact, so the framework of the design is already in place. We adapted interior walls and layouts to suit the clients' needs, creating a spacious main bedroom and en-suite on the right of the building and two guest rooms to the left. The central space will boast a stunning double-volume living area with an open-plan kitchen and dining area leading out to the back garden with a brand-new swimming pool and entertainment area.

An existing Cape Dutch home that was destroyed in a fire is receiving a facelift lift to bring it back to life! The brief provided by two property developers entails making use of the remains of the existing structure while giving the interiors a contemporary makeover; maintaining the historic style, but with a modern twist.

The outside courtyard spaces to the front of the house will feature new water features and a timber pergola structure which will shade the interior spaces slightly from the sun. The client loves gardening and plans to give this garden some much needed TLC.
